Hi Kirby, we advised that it would be arriving Dec 7th in our warehouse barring any problems in customs and we would be shipping them right away from there. If you have any other issues please advise me at torben@valleygames.ca

I pre-ordered this game in August. Each month I read that it will be published the NEXT month. When can we expect to see it?

The artist is nearly done, we are just going over a few more things and we should be able to show you what we have.

Thank you once again for all of the feedback, it's really helped us get this game looking fantastic.

I have been waiting for this game to be republicked for years now, and I wouldn´t mind if there was another delay, provided that the final result is satisfactory or even delightful. Personally, I would suggest a clear, functional and still appealing Roman look with less pink and more red and with quality Roman style illustrations instead of the current clipart ones. I would prefer simple frame lines to the current fancy ones. For the background I would suggest a clear choice: Either keep the whole card in a scroll-like design or get rid of the playful background. Reediting this great game is such a fantastic opportunity - please don´t blow it!

I'm going to add my voice to all those who said that the font used for the cards is not what I would have choosen. As far as readability is concerned, it could be better. And for the look and feel of the game, I think that a quick search on google with the words « ancient rome writing » will convince you that the Papyrus kind of font was not what the Romans were using. I would suggest using a capital serif font which would be a lot closer to how Romans used to write.

Anything but Times New Roman! That is the worst font ever (or at least most overused since it's the default font in MS Word). There are tons of legible, stylish fonts. Garamond, Book Antiqua (we agree on that), or any of a number of sans serif fonts might be better.

There are even a few "carved" looking fonts you could use for the title and then something legible for the "meat" of the card.

Echoing a few comments by others. I think the font and size are a little weak on the cards. I would get rid of that particular font and go with something like Times Roman or Book Antiqua. But the main thing is size and boldness. The cards demonstrated look weak.
