Finally…
Republic of Rome has finally arrived and is being received as we speak into inventory. That means we are shipping tomorrow and the next day to all the preorder people.
Some of you have been contacted by me with regards to an issue on your order that just came up when the shipping people started compiling the orders. If you can respond as quickly as you can, that would be great and we can get your game out to you.
We had a small printing error that we managed to fix before we sent out the games, unfortunately it wasn’t discovered until the game was actually printed but we caught it none the less. There are no zeros on the backs of the 9 tokens, this can make it a bit challenging in a couple areas to display the correct number you want. So we had the printer make small punchboards with 9 and 0 tokens and these are going to be something you can use to replace the other tokens in the game. The punchboards are separate so we will include one of those in each delivery so make sure to look for it.
If you don’t get one or don’t find it or forget to look, we can always send you another one no problem. Just let me know and I will help you out with that.
Otherwise, please enjoy your game and we thank you again for your continued patience with this process and all the other processes out there that are out of our control.
Regards,
Torben
p.s. the “intensive examination” that was to happen to the games consisted of customs taking the container to a warehouse off site, opening it, opening a couple boxes and closing it back up and sending it back a few days later. Nice eh?

OH happy days!!! I bet those custom guys wanted to try out the game! Maybe they can do a review of it? (I think I see a youtube skit coming on here!) Anyway! Thanks Torben for keeping us informed and I look forward to reaping the reward of a long and weather-worn journey! Congrats!

PS: Hey Torben, Send me one of the opened ones! I want to be able to tell my friends that my game in particular was violated by the govt! Provided the game isn’t damaged, of course. I still want it to look pretty.

Congrats, Oxtan! When you do get around to a game, refer to Hannibal as a U.S. Customs Agent in solidarity for your Senetorial brothers across the big water! Have fun!
